Summer days growing up carefree with fun, swimming, water skiing, wakeboarding, fishing or just relaxing in the sun with the whole family are what those special memories that last a lifetime and bond a family are made of.
I have encountered so many people who grew up on their family's houseboat on Lake Eildon who are drawn back because they want their children to experience the magic of Lake Eildon and make their own special memories.
Summadayze provides a great opportunity for a family to begin their magical journey on Lake Eildon.
The current owners have made some great improvements to enhance the experience.
Firstly, the front wall of the Cabin was moved forward to provide more room in the front Lounge for everyone to relax. The increased space has made it easy to install the internal stairs. This is a big plus as it opens up the first storey level as a second entertainment/relaxation area. It is important for the layout to provide a space for each generation.
The first storey level has been improved with a canopy of composite aluminium and canvass with a full set of fly wire screens. Up here the family can enjoy a BBQ or just relax on the couches to take in the sunshine.
Summadayze was originally built in the 1970's, however, important to note, the pontoons were replaced in 2012. Further, the current owners have reclad the external walls with composite aluminium which adds to the appearance whilst minimizing maintenance.
Summadayze has good solar electrics with an Outback Inverter, new Morningstar Solar Charge Controller, new Hoppecke Solar House Batteries, and extra Solar Panels. The Generator is now only used as a backup.
Importantly, Summadayze is now ESV Gas Compliant.
A further improvement was the installation of the Hydraulic Duckboard.
The number of Bedrooms is a consideration on a family holiday home. Summadayze has three good sized bedrooms sleeping 8 in beds. If you have extras for the weekend, then there are the two click down couches/doubles beds in the lounge. These are serviced by a well-presented bathroom with a separate internal toilet, which many see as a plus.
Summadayze had had a lot of work undertaken to make her attractive for a family wanting to commence their journey on Lake Eildon. Now, with a bit of love, Summadayze can become your family's holiday home on the water where your family can make those special memories that will last a lifetime and bond a family on magical Lake Eildon.
