HOOKER 5M RSC  Just Listed

John Crawford Marine has just landed this amazing Hooker 5m RSC. If you have been in the market and looking at fiberglass consoles from Evolution / Cruise Craft / Bonito / Galeforce / Stejcraft or the new Northbank etc, well, don't delay, make bee line to JCM as this won't last long!

This is a solidly built hull sporting a deep V that eat the afternoon chop when running out for the night bite or running home after a day out, either way, power on and enjoy the ride that this hull provides. It's easy to see why the professional fisherman use them!

Proudly NQ made, the Hooker brand is synonymous with a no fuss, no pretty bits, pure functionality and built to last. As the photos depict, for a 5m boat, this rig sure allows several people to flick lures, set up the crab pots or throw a cast net!

Powered by a 6 hour old, yes a 6 hour old Yamaha F70 that replaced a larger and heavier outboard, the owner simply couldn't get the hull to perform with the heavier outboard and down sized to now what is the "right" weight and balance for hull.

The Yamaha 70Hp was purchased new in December 2023 and has factory warranty remaining until December 2027. A fast tail engine foil is fitted along with Seastar hydraulic steering for ease of steering on those long trips out to the reef and 2 engine multifunction gauges are fitted to the dash.

Rather than a standard tiller steer model, this hull was assembled with numerous factory upgrades including the rear side console, extended bow sprit, electric bow mount plate, large underfloor fuel tan, mid ship thwart seat with storage under, live bait tank, deck wash just to rattle off some of the additional features.

The side console module is well positioned well aft to offer the skipper the most comfortable of positions to steer from, set the trim, adjust the Lenco trim tabs and take off... All the while keeping an eye on the engine gauges and the TV size screen from Raymarine. This is the Axiom Pro 12 RVX Hybrid touch screen.

Linked to a 1kw through hull transducer for optimum fish finding abilities and comes with a mapping card. A GME VHF radio is installed for "boat to boat" communications and if you like listening to the tunes whilst afloat, a Fusion MSRA55 stereo is also included.

On the Trailer
The rig is trailered on a quality Redco Sportsman RS510-MO single axle braked trailer manufactured in April 2021 and marries to the hull like a glove. Dressed with alloy wheels, black plastic guards with side clearance lights and a walkway fitted for ease at the ramp.

Like all trailers sold through JCM they are workshop inspected and serviced. This trailer has been serviced prior to listing for sale to ensure roadworthy compliance and your on-road towing confidence on handover.
