Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409 Performance

An owners 2-cabin version of this European Yacht of the Year design which has been enjoyed for club racing as well as for entertaining family and friends. It's equipped to use three different headsail sizes if required, having a self-tacking track, the short overlap inboard cars, and large overlap deck tracks, so great flexibility in how this yacht can be enjoyed. It comes with a 2022 North Mainsail and #2 headsail and both S2 and A2 spinnakers. It has performance options such as a hydraulic backstay, additional spinnaker winches, and upgraded mainsheet traveller.

The twin-wheel cockpit is comfortable with a centreline drop-leaf cockpit table and teak floor, and in addition to other performance tweaks it also has an additional set of winches to make it easier for spinnaker use. The canvas package of bimini, spray-dodger and infill is as new, and there is also a full boom-over deck cover as well as wheel and a cockpit table cover.

Down below the roomy layout is well appointed and comfortable with an L-shaped galley to starboard forward of which is a U-shaped dinnette with a saloon table that is counter-balanced and simply slides down to convert to an additional double bunk, but also bifolds out to a larger table.

Opposite is a forward facing nav table and bench seat, aft of which is the head with dedicated shower stall, while aft of this is a huge dry storage locker. On the starboard side is the aft cabin with a large double, and up forward is a very spacious cabin with large v-berth double and twin hanging lockers.  

Included is an extensive suite of sails serviced / check by Norths in Nov 23 and not used since unless otherwise noted.
