This Harmony 42 is value packed French-built cruising yacht that effortlessly combines strength, style, and practicality. Built in La Rochelle by Harmony Yachts--a division of the renowned Group Poncin -- this vessel embodies innovative construction techniques, elegant design, and impressive sailing performance.
As a testament to its craftsmanship, the Harmony 42 is built using an advanced Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) system, resulting in a robust yet lightweight hull. Reinforced with Kevlar in high-stress areas, the construction ensures exceptional durability while maintaining a smooth finish inside and out.
The saloon, dominated by clean, white glass surfaces and accented with cherry blonde wood, creates a bright, modern, and airy ambiance. Its spacious layout, with nearly four metres of beam and generous 190cm headroom, feels expansive yet cozy.
The dining area comfortably seats eight around a thoughtfully designed table with a reversible lid for serving hot dishes. Storage is abundant, with compartments beneath the seats housing a 500-liter moulded water tank. A galley built for convenience features Corian countertops, sink, a 200-liter fridge, and a two-burner gas stove. Overhead cupboards offer practical storage for cruising essentials, while the optional upgrade package adds a double berth conversion to the dining area.

Under sail, the Harmony 42 impresses with its balanced and predictable handling. Its hull design and inboard jib-sheet mounting allow it to point high--up to 27 degrees to the wind--and achieve speeds of 8.5 knots upwind. Off the breeze, the yacht remains stable and responsive, reaching over 12 knots in favourable conditions.
Powered by a reliable 55hp Volvo engine with a folding propeller, the yacht motors comfortably at 6 and half knots.
