The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 is undoubtedly the most popular yacht of its size with more than 50 of them now sailing in Australian waters. This lovely 2015 model has recently returned from an east coast cruise which saw her a race winner at Airlie Beach Race Week 2023. She has proved to be delightfully easy to handle in all offshore conditions with twin wheels and rudders providing excellent control while the spacious, light and airy interior with two private double cabins, excellent galley facilities and a bathroom with a separate shower compartment delivered a high level of comfort for her crew at sea and in port.
This Sun Odyssey 349 has benefitted from many thoughtful upgrades including a set of Quantum performance sails comprising a square topped mainsail, a furling genoa, a spinnaker and a Code Zero. The Spinnaker and Code Zero are both fitted with top-down furlers and socks for the ultimate in safe and easy handling. A full suite of Brookes and Gatehouse performance electronics includes 2 x Vulcan 7 plotters, 2 x Triton displays, AIS, Autopilot and VHF radio. These delightful yachts are so easy to sail whether you choose to sail double handed, with your family or with a crew. The economical Yanmar 21hp diesel engine provides plenty of power when needed.
In August 2024 this yacht was slipped, professionally cleaned and polished. The hull was anti-fouled, Propspeed was applied to her drive shaft and propeller and her Yanmar 21 HP diesel engine was fully serviced so she is ready to sail away for new adventures this coming summer and beyond.
Come and see why the Sun Odyssey 349s are such popular family yachts. For further information or to arrange inspection at Brighton, please contact Chris Furey on O4IO 55I977 or complete the on-line enquiry form
