Easy 40

Hollydaze is a beautifully maintained Easy 40 catamaran, presenting in excellent condition thanks to the care of her dedicated owner since her launch in 2005.

This Easy 40 is an enhanced version of the original 11.6m design thanks to the expertise of boat builder Joe Valentine, featuring several key upgrades for added strength and improved functionality. Noteworthy modifications include areas of fibreglass over ply construction (rather than just epoxy), an upgraded aluminium front beam for increased durability, a wider cockpit, and additional storage lockers.

Under sail, Hollydaze has been a capable and reliable cruiser for her current owners up and down the east coast of Australia. She is equipped with a fully battened Dacron mainsail and a furling headsail, with all lines conveniently running back to the helm for easy single handed sailing. When under power, her twin 9.9HP Yamaha high thrust outboards, both well maintained, provide dependable propulsion.

The cockpit boasts a spacious and airy feel, further enhanced by three drop down windows connecting it to the saloon, and two side opening hatches for improved light, visibility, and airflow. The helm station is well equipped, featuring a 12" Raymarine chartplotter, Raymarine autopilot with remote, a VHF radio, and more.

Entering the saloon, you'll find an inviting L-shaped lounge surrounding the dining table, bathed in natural light from the large windows. Four forward facing hatches offer excellent airflow throughout the interior.

In the port hull, a full size aft bathroom features a standing shower and toilet. Midships is a navigation station situated beneath the switchboard, with a queen sized berth forward, offering ample storage.

The starboard hull mirrors the layout with another queen berth forward. Midships, you'll find a thoughtfully designed galley with new cabinetry and counter tops, plus a full size upright fridge/freezer and a pantry located aft.

Recently antifouled (2024) at The Boat Works, Hollydaze is fully prepared to embark on new adventures with her next owner.
