Django is a 37ft Flica designed by Richard Woods and built by Palmos Yachts in Cornwall UK.
The hulls are GRP solid fibreglass below the waterline and foam cored above, ensuring durability and peace of mind.
Under sail Django is powered by her in-mast furling mainsail and furling genoa making her extremely easy to sail single-handed.
When the sails are down she is powered by 2 x Volvo d120b engines with Volvo Penta 130 sail drives. Engines are well maintained, reliable, and fuel efficient.
She draws only 0.8m making her the perfect boat to explore inlets and shallow anchorages.
The Flica 37 is a proven offshore blue water catamaran and Django has been fully kitted out for ocean sailing, crossing the South Pacific from Panama in 2022. Her recent upgrades include: new standing rigging (2021), new mainsail (2022), new headsail (2022), additional solar panels and watermaker.
Instruments run on a Raymarine ST70 system, comprising wind speed, depth, boat speed, and compass combined with a Raymarine type 1 linear drive ram and autopilot.
The Flica 37 features a 4 cabin layout and has space to sleep 8, with 2 small double aft cabins, 2 queen cabins forward, a functional saloon lounge with a fixed dining table and a well equipped galley.
Due to her age the interior is showing signs of use and the new owner may want to continue some sanding & varnishing to bring her back.
Last haul out was in 02/2024 where 2 new coats of antifoul were applied along with a full inspection / change out of a few through hulls and seacocks. The lower leg seals and oil in the sail drive were also changed along with an engine service.
Django comes with a Highfield double skin Alu 9ft6 tender with 15hp Suzuki 2 stroke that easily gets 3 adults planing.
If you value a quality built catamaran with all new rigging and sails, ready for endless adventures then Django is well worth an inspection.
