CATALINA 42 MK II  

"Volare", is one of more than a 1000 Catalina 42's built by one of America's largest production boat builders. Catalina Yachts are known for their reputation for building solid, dependable and well thought out cruising yachts for the last 55 years.
Launched in 1997, Volare has been lovingly maintained and is presented in remarkable condition by her current owners of 10 years. The previous 2nd owners sailed across the Pacific, circumnavigated Tasmania and cruised the East Coast. She has since been QLD based with her current owners recently returning from a 6 months cruise.
Stepping aboard "Volare" there is a large accessible well shaded and protected cockpit with dodger (with new clears) and new Bimini, central helm, great visibility, good storage, a stern rail mounted Weber bbq and a fold out fibreglass table ideal for outdoor entertaining.
All lines tail back to the cockpit with electric Lewmar primary and halyard winches.
With a well appointed L shaped galley to port, top and front opening refrigeration, microwave, 3 burner gas stove and oven, twin SS sink and plenty of cupboard storage including an extension aft.
A large wrap around saloon with enough room for 6-8 people.
"Volare" is a 2 cabin version with a cosy double aft cabin with ensuite head, and owners cabin forward with Pullman berth and large ensuite.
Powered by a 54hp Yanmar shaft drive diesel, Autostream 3 blade feathering prop pushing her along at 6knts using 2-2.4 lph.
Maximum speed approximately 8knts.
