The Jeanneau range of Merry Fisher boats have become very popular in the Australian market due to the clever and versatile French design.
The Merry Fisher 695 is best described as an SUV style cruiser. The versatile design is perfect for getting the family out on the water for a day trip, overnight cruising, or fishing with the boys.
The all-weather enclosed cabin provides excellent protection from the elements. The helm station is relatively compact, equipped with a blacked-out (anti-glare) dash and fascia with a Lowrance 9" Chartplotter/fish finder. Large sliding glass windows flank the wheelhouse, stretching aft to the full-height, three-piece sliding door that separates the saloon/wheelhouse from the rear cockpit. Needless to say, vision is excellent from both the helm and saloon area. The optional opening skylight hatch overhead further ventilates the saloon and provides plenty of ambient light.
This tidy 2017 model is powered by a 175HP Mercury Verado with only 279 hours on the clock. With the efficient hull design and a 170lt of fuel onboard, this is an economical setup with very respectable range. Remarkably for a boat of this size, this one has been fitted with the optional bow thruster, so manoeuvring in close quarters is exceptionally easy.
The design incorporates just enough accommodation and creature comforts for overnight cruises. The port side dinette seating area can seat two comfortably, and three at a pinch. Cleverly, the forward seat has an optional reversible back-rest so you can sit facing forward when the boat is underway.
The saloon table drops down and converts in a large single berth. The V-Berth offers a number of different accommodation options. In it's simplest form it provides two single berths. An infill cushion converts it into a very comfortable sized double bed. There is chemical toilet that stows under the V-Berth and this provides a simple solution for a holding tank, essential for overnight stays at Rottnest.
Although a trailer is not included with this boat, with its sub-3000kg towing weight, the Jeanneau Merry Fisher 695 can hitch up behind most SUVs and utes.
Other features include a transom door, external boarding platforms with small storage/bait bins, a telescopic boarding ladder, rod holders, and stern cleats.
The floating dock (Floating Dock now SOLD) pictured in the photos is also being offered for sale. This can be purchased separately or included with the boat for an additional $8000.
