Originally built as a tender vessel for the Royal Australian Navy in 1946,"Swordfish" has been in private use since since her 'retirement' in the 1980's, and has been loved and enjoyed by the current owners for over 20 years.
"Swordfish" underwent a major professional refit in 1994, redesigning the layout to provide basic accommodation and spacious living areas. Downstairs there is two decent bunks and a forward electric head, while the main cabin has the helm and side door, two settees which both convert to wider berths, and a galley area with sink, stove, table and icechest. This cabin opens to a huge, uncluttered cockpit, ideal for entertaining or fishing. Excellent access to foredeck via generous side decks.
"Swordfish" is powered by a 4 cylinder John Deere 80 hp shaft drive diesel, fitted new in 2014 and with less than 300 hours clocked. She slips through the water with a minimum of fuss and turns heads with her delightful lines. Her sparkling condition is evidence of the ongoing care and attention she receives from her proud owners.
Last antifoul March 2023. Engine service January 2024.
