Conquest Fibreglass Cray

This 53' Conquest conversion has been a three year project carried out by the current owner who has a lifetime of experience living onboard vessels in remote locations.

The vendor has had a rich history of owning and operating a number of charter vessels that carried out extended trips into the far North Kimberley's.

He has utilised all his first hand knowledge to manage the conversion of Prosperity to end up with a long range liveaboard vessel with plenty of accommodation for family & friends. The perfect size vessel to enjoy in his retirement for extended trips to the Abrolhos, Montebello Islands and Kimberleys'.

The fully enclosed Maxivision flybridge gives great all round visibility when manoeuvring the vessel into tight bays and moorings at Rottnest island or traversing through the Islands and passages in the Kimberleys'. The flybridge is fitted out with state of the art electronics and 3D MaxSea bottom mapping. The flybridge also has a fold out double bed and ensuite which is great for extended trips with lots of overnight passengers onboard.

The main saloon has a large dinette that can also have the table lowered down and converted into a large double bed. The galley has a very practical working space for preparing large meals for lots of passengers with a full size fridge and freezer in the galley.

Moving forward in the saloon you step down into the accommodation which has four single bunks in the forepeak, then down to the lower accommodation under the saloon which has an additional double bed and three single beds. All up Prosperity has internal accommodation for 12 friends and family. The huge back deck is fantastic for entertaining large groups and can easily accommodate many more passengers sleeping onboard with additional fold out beds or swags on the deck. The starboard side of the back deck has been fully enclosed for any rough weather trips and the Port side is open with fold down clears.

The aft back deck has been fitted with two large below deck cool rooms that can be converted to freezers that are perfect for extended trips to the Kimberlys. The owner designed and fabricated a very large, heavy duty swim platform on the stern of the vessel for tenders to easily pick up or drop off passengers.

The vessel is powered by a 3408 Caterpillar main engine which has very low hours after a full factory rebuild. The vessel has a top speed of 20 knots and comfortable economical cruise of 15 knots. The vessel is fitted with a 25 KVA Genset and an electric bow thruster for manoeuvring into tight locations and moorings.

This vessel has been fitted with too many options to list. The Conquest hulls are renowned for their brilliant sea keeping abilities and this conversion has been completed by the current owner who is a professional charter operator who knows what a vessel needs for extended holidays with large numbers of passengers onboard.
