The current owners have done an incredible job in rejuvenating this holiday home.
Firstly, all the external cladding and eaves have been replaced with composite aluminium. The external decking has been upgraded. The result Sarong looks fresh and inviting.
This continues as you walk in through the double width opening front doors. You are presented with a modern fresh look. There is new flooring which blends in with the new wall cladding and the new quality blinds. The new furniture and dining setting help paint this inviting and fresh atmosphere. Just imagine sitting up to dinner and taking in the views. Importantly, the new couch can fold out to a double sofa bed when you have extras for the weekend.
The kitchen has had a facelift as well. You will enjoy sitting up to the servery for a coffee and a chat.
The bedrooms have been included in the upgrade with fresh paint work and stylish décor. The master bed is a walkaround bed. The bathroom has enjoyed a new vanity and has been freshly painted.
One of the big pluses is on the rear deck with the installation of the hydraulic duckboard. Going in for a swim will be so much fun.
When you walk up the internal stairs you will find the next major upgrade with the canvass canopy gone and replaced by an all weather minimal maintenance steel frame and composite aluminium canopy. This with the new composite aluminium on the guardwalls really adds to the fresh inviting appearance. With all the quality outdoor dining and lounge furniture there will be many great relaxing times up here.
Now we turn to the technology that powers the houseboat. The old 4 cylinder motors are gone and replaced with a new Mercury Sea Pro 75hp 4 stroke Outboard Motor. There is plenty of reliable power with this new motor. The other important upgrade has been the new Lithium Batteries 220amphr x 3 which will harvest, store and provide plenty of power for the houseboat.
The improvements on Sarong have taken this houseboat to another level. The upgrades have not only improved the appearance and décor but also minimizing maintenance. With Sarong having been slipped in 2023 December, the big ticket maintenance items are under control.
