MV George Molland began life in 1984 as a pilot vessel for the port of Bunbury in WA as the MV Leschenault. After 22 years of faithful service she was sold to the Victorian Regional Channel Authority in Geelong and operated as a Port Tender for the Port of Geelong. She was officially retired in 2023 and is now offered for sale. In 2020/21 she underwent extensive renovation work by the renowned boat yard Cayzers in Queenscliffe and she still looks fantastic. Her detroit engines have been meticulously cared for over the years by Drysdale Engineeering with comprehensive records of service and a monthly check and run up. As you would expect from a well maintained government vessel the records of maintenance and certification are extensive. She is currently certified as 2C 1E. She was recently surveyed which is available to interested buyers. MV George Molland has many years of reliable service remaining.
