Salmo 15-S Lugger

For sale my beloved day sailer Salmo 15 lugger. I have choose to build this boat in 2021/2022 for proven seaworthiness, few of this boats having crossed the Baltic Sea. She is a great cruising dinghy with plenty of storage space. I have cruised her extensively in Western Port, Port Philip Bay and Gippsland Lakes. Boat did win few races during Inverloch Wooden Boat Regatta last year. She sails surprisingly well in all point of sail despite it is a lugger rig. Excellent rower as well, comes with 8.5ft oars and locks. Free standing mast make it easy and super quick to rig and derig at the boat ramp. She can be riged boom less (great for light wind and simplicity) or with a boom giving more control over sail shape.
It is a stitch and glue construction made from Okoume 9mm marine plywood covered outside with 200gsm fibreglass cloth. Hull is painted with very durable 2 pack epoxy. Decks and rails painted with clear Aquacote 2 pack.
Dacron sail (9.5 m2) in very good shape new in 2023 with 2 slab reefs.
Mast and boom made of sitka spruce. It takes 500h to build one to this standard. I have placed a 60 kg of lead ballast around the dagger board case for increased stability when single handling as boat came lighter then in specks (easy removalbe). Two bouyancy chambers with total of 300l. Designed to take up to 4 crew.

Tilting trailer is in very good shape with no rust to frame. Major refit in 2023, new: axle, hubs, bearings, springs, tires, winch, rollers. Rego until Dec 2025.
Tohatsu motor 3.5HP 4stroke 2023 in mint condition, long shaft, around 25 hours, serviced recently with new fluids, flushed after every sail.
Boat cover 6 months old. Anchor with 3m of chain and 20m rope
Boat rego until April 2025.

Selling as recently purchased a keel boat and I don't have enough time to sail this one.
