Haines Hunter 650 Classic with new 3500kg Spitfire Trailer

For sale is my Haines Hunter 650 Classic. It's in beautiful condition; a lot of people mistake it for a new boat. It has spent most of its life undercover in a shed. I'm the second owner.

I have spent big money on this as I intended to keep it for 10+ years. But then the owner of my old boat (24ft McKeeCraft, 24.5 degree deadrise) rang me up and offered to sell it back to me. The Haines is fantastic, but my old boat puts Formula 233s to shame.

The Boat
6.50m Haines 650 classic. Length including bowsprit is 6.75m. They still use this hull today in the Haines Hunter 675.
Hull only weight is 1300kg. If you know boats, you know that for a 21ft boat this is very heavy and strong.
Thoroughbred Hull, comfortable and stable.
Loads of cabin space plus a big deck.
Underfloor storage.
Excellent access to bilge and batteries.
Seating for four plus loads of seating in the cabin.
210l fuel tank.

Trailer
It has a legal trailer! A lot of these were sold with 2.2 to 2.4t trailers (illegal). This one has a 2024 aluminium 3500kg Spitfire drive on-drive off aluminium trailer with stainless steel discs, LED lighting, Landcruiser bolt pattern on wheels. Fuelled up weight is 2700kg (including ball weight of 220kg). The trailer has plenty in reserve. Its legal to tow behind a Pajero or some of the later model Prados.

Electronics
Commercial grade electronics. Furuno FCV 295 and Furuno GP1971F touchscreen. Hit mark on the 295 and it transfers to the GP1971F. Quality through hull 8 element Furuno 1kW transducer. Reads well to 30 knots.
If you want to upgrade the transducer the 295 will drive multiple transducers up to 3kW. The GP1971F will drive a 1kW chirp transducer if you want to install one. But you don't need it.
Dual batteries with quality Proflow machined aluminium holders and the latest BEP isolator and automatic charging.

Motor
Motor is a 225 Honda that is freshly serviced (anodes, water pump, oils, filters) and runs well.
Less than 600hrs.
Economical, approx 0.7L/km.
Flat out speed is 40 knots.
210 litre underfloor fuel tank.

Fishing stuff
Live bait tank, wash down.
Electric anchor winch.
Loads of road holders. Underfloor storage.

Heaps of storage in the cab.

Good quality travel cover.
