COUTA BOAT 20  Just Listed

Tamar Queen is a beautiful boat lovingly resored to better than new condition. Proven by having won catagories in the tasmanian wooden boat shows. There are not many places you cant see your reflection either in the paint work inside and out or the brass and stainless fixings.
A clinker boat built in the 40's and launched in 1955. The whole boat has been taken back to bare timber and all rot removed, modifications include a deeper keel with a full length polished stainless shoe, a drop in centre board, a new engine box and a new yanmar 10hp engine. The deck has been made in panels and can be removed for maintenance or cleaning. Then everything sealed and painted in many many coats of 2 pac paint. Hence the showroom finish.
Being gaff rigged makes it easy to set up and is easy to sail single handed or enjoy with family and friends. Both sails have covers when stored and the whole boat has always been under cover.
The trailer has an extendable toungue which allows for launching at shallow ramps and has guide posts for easy launching and retievals. Trailer will have 12 months rego when sold.
The boat will be in tasmania till the 10th of december 24 then it will make its way over to melbourne where it will live till its sold. There has been more than tripple the asking price spent on this boat to get it into this condition, so should serve as a maintenance free vessel for years to come.
