Following a RECENT REBUILD, "Pronto" presents in flawless condition, being reconstructed with Tasmanian Huon Pine and authentic Fijian Mahogany and sporting a BRAND-NEW CHEVROLET 350 V8 WITH LESS THAN 10 HOURS OF USE. "Pronto" has a special and complete documented history, with many acclaimed racing victories and a detailed timeline of its life, certainly proving its pedigree as a highly acclaimed Chris Craft. This show-stopping gentleman's sport boat offers luxury and high performance in an elegant and prestigious package as a perfect day boat, speed boat or tender.

As you step onboard, you are greeted by the original Chris-Craft authentic boarding steps laid atop the varnished Fijian Mahogany decks, before you nestle down into the recessed cockpits with lounges re-upholstered with smooth red leather. The dashboard features the original builders' plate and build coin that was presented on delivery in 1951, recessed into the curved timber amid the Chris-Craft analogue gauges. The current owner was determined to keep the vessel as original and period correct as possible while improving performance and functionality.

Sporting a carburetted Chevrolet 350 V8, the top speed is yet to be determined as the owner has never given full power to the new power plant, however, has surpassed 40 knots with ease. The restored original throttle lever is present and continues to add to the originality of the build. Where from the helm, you look across the curved bow and perfect stainless steel fittings.

The fuel tank has been re-positioned and now lays forward of the helm for better weight distribution and handling, however, the original fuel filler caps are left in place at the stern but are permanently closed, with the new functional cap disguised inside the original bow locker vent. The vessel sits on a fitted trailer for easy stowage and transport.

Being newly rebuilt and scarcely used since, the 1951 Chris Craft 19' "Pronto" is the perfect elegant sports boat, presenting in better than new condition and is a slice of prestigious maritime history.
