CAREEL 22 ON REGISTERED TRAILER AND READY TO SAIL  SOLD

This boat would suit either cruisers wanting to downsize or those wanting to get into sailing at an affordable price.
It has been in family use for the last few years but the kids have now grown up with changed interests so selling reluctantly! Cosmetically it needs some loving care to restore it to its original glorious red but is otherwise sound and operational.
It has been used extensively in Moreton Bay and trailed up to the Keppel, Whitsundays and other parts of the Queensland Coast. The beauty of "Simply Red" is that it is ready to sail right away, fully insured until Feb 2025 on a registered trailer.
It is fitted with:
Mercury 8hp motor
Fully retractable hydraulic metal keel (hand pumped with quick release for safety) and totally rust proofed.
Very solid 4 wheel tip able trailer with hand winch
Chemical toilet (unused)
Spare set of sails
Pop Top for standing room

She is a very safe and stable boat and practically untippable with the keel fully down. She sails well and if you are so inclined is a good racer. For overnight at anchor she sleeps two adults and two children with ease and has a gas cook top.
Insurance is about $450 annually and rego for boat and trailer a similar amount.
Very sound hulll but In need of a bit of a cosmetic treatment if you want her to look like new!
It wil be sad to see her go with som many great family memories and a good home is sought where she can be looked after and enjoyed.
