Brig Eagle 650

I bought this boat around two years ago when it had done only 96 hours and was already in excellent condition as you would expect from a boat that had had such little use. I then put all new electronics on it including a Lowrance HDS 9 Live GPS/Sounder, Fusion Stereo, VHF radio, antennas, lights etc. I then put a new folding mesh sun top on it and fixed up a few minor things than needed doing. The boat is therefore in perfect condition and literally a "Turn Key, ready to go" proposition. The engine has now done 264 hours and was serviced at the start of this season. It runs perfectly. When I first bought the boat, dispite the low hours, there turned out to be an issue witih the motor (It actually hadn't been used often enough) so I had a brand new Genuine Honda cylinder head fitted at a cost of around $5K. I just didn't want any dramas with it whatsoever so just paid the money and got it done properly. So the top end of the motor has only done 150 hours and is only 2 years old. I am very diligent with flushing and maintenance. When you lift the cover, the engine looks like it is brand new (See the photos). It runs perfectly and is very quiet and really fuel efficient. Rockingham to Rotto uses around 15 litres cruising at 25 knots. On that, the hull is brilliant (As you would expect from Brig) and the boat will cruise at 25 knots (It tops out at around 38 knots) in just about any sea state. I still find it remarkable how it does this. In all honesty, the worst part of this whole package would be the trailer. The previous owner didn't give it a lot of love. It is structurally sound but does have some surface rust here and there. However, I have just spent $4750 on it repalcing every single mechanaical component. This was only 4 weeks ago. It has just had new axles, hubs, springs, a complete new braking system including cables override hitch and jockey wheel. The trailer functions brilliantly and the boat is super easy to launch and retrieve. It also has a new L&R latch (Which are $500 by themselves) so you can easily launch and retrieve the boat single handed. The boat comes with brand new life jackets, flares and a new GPS EPIRB. It is an awesome rig and I'm only selling it due to upgrading. I doubt you will find a better boat than this.
