Wauquiez Pretorien 35, launched in 1984 and is now exclusively for sale with DBY Boat Sales. Upgrades such as the 2021 model Volvo with low hours and 2021 standing rigging, make this one stand out from any others. The Wauquiez Pretorien 35 is a highly regarded cruising sailboat, known for its superior design, robust build quality, excellent sailing performance, and strong emphasis on safety. Crafted by the esteemed French boatbuilder Henri Wauquiez, the Pretorien 35 features a sleek, elegant design combined with a solid, hand-laid fiberglass hull, ensuring durability and longevity. The sailboat's layout is practical and well-thought-out, with ample storage and comfortable living spaces, making it ideal for long voyages and liveaboards.

The saloon area features a U-shaped settee to starboard and an inline settee to port, both of which can be used for seating and additional berths. The dining table is centrally located and has the ability to lower and create the amidhsips queen sized bed when required.

A galley is on the starboard side and is compact yet functional, featuring a double sink, stove with oven, ample counter space, and storage for cooking essentials. Up front is a decent V berth with storage lockers and a cosy but roomy feeling. The aft Cabin is to port of the companionway, this cabin features a double berth, storage lockers, and generous headroom.

The Wauquiez company is known for producing some of the strongest and most capable offshore yachts ever built. The Pretoriens were built for ocean sailing with six internal stringers running from bow to stern for increased structural strength. The renowned sailing author, Hal Roth, and his wife Margret chose the 35 Wauquiez Pretorien as their boat of choice for their continued ocean voyages.
