Welcome aboard "Spice" Dutch designed Van der Stadt 28ft sloop. The design is also known as "spirit" the designer himself owned and preferred to sail this yacht. I bought Spice in March 2021 and lived aboard her up until February of this year undertaking Near Coastal trips between Botany Bay and the Hawkesbury. She is currently set up as a week ender. In late 2023 I purchased a slightly larger sloop also Dutch in design a 30-foot Contest. I am not wanting the upkeep of two vessels and would like to move "Spice" on to a new owner. I am more than happy to deliver her to a buyer anywhere along the NSW coastline. She is currently moored at Cammeray Mariner in Sydney however will be moved at the end February 2024 where moorings fees are more in keeping with my budget.

The outboard is set into the well shown in the cockpit. Once installed the Raymarine ST 2000+ auto pilot provides steerage while the sails are raised.
All safety equipment necessary for near coastal cruising is included in the sale. That is up to 2 nautical miles off the coast, all compliant with maritime requirements.
When moored the chart table functions as a floor for the cockpit and the tiller is lifted to provide a flat platform to enjoy. A solar panel is mounted on the bow and charges two 90 Ah batteries that powers the outboard, fridge on week end trips and ancillary electronic devices.
Stepping down into the galley there is ample stowage options aft as well as providing the vessel with its water supply.
The port side of the galley also provides additional stowage with easy access.
The starboard side includes the electronics, fridge, two stove gas burner and two benches I use to prepare food. A "Porta Potti" is stored under the stairs leading into the Galley which has rarely been used. Spice is currently moored with Cammeray mariner that provide all necessary facilities.
The master birth has been extended 600mm to accommodate a double mattress. The mattress is a "Spinal Design" luxury low profile that was custom built for the vessel. Three shelves have been installed each side of the mattress and a smaller shelf fitted into the bow. This is a liveaboard boat.
The main sail is stored on the boom and Genoa, Storm Jib and Spinnaker are included all in good condition.
The spinnaker has a small tear near the foot of the sail and will require a patch if to be used. Being single handed I have never set it.
The tender is a 2.4 meter aluminium "tinnie".
. "Spice" is a dry boat with everything you need for that week end away.

Remarks
Welcome aboard "Spice" Dutch designed Van der Stadt 28ft sloop. The design is also known as "spirit" the designer himself owned and preferred to sail this yacht.
The outboard is set into the well shown in the cockpit. Once installed the Raymarine ST 2000+ auto pilot provides steerage. The "tinnie" accompanies the sale. The bottom right-hand corner of this image shows the chart table along with a chart of Botany Bay up to and including the Hawkesbury. All safety equipment necessary for near coastal cruising is included in the sale. That is up to 2 nautical miles off the coast, all compliant with maritime requirements.
When moored the chart table functions as a floor for the cockpit and the tiller is lifted to provide a flat platform to enjoy. The -60 watt solar panel charges two 90 Ah batteries that powers the outboard, fridge 24/7, a cpap machine at night, radio, depth sounder, laptop and phone.
Image 4. Stepping down into the galley there is ample stowage options aft as well as providing the vessel with its water supply.
The port side of the galley also provides additional stowage with easy access.
The starboard side includes the electronics, fridge, two stove gas burner and two benches I use to prepare food. A "Porta Potti" is stored under the stairs leading into the Galley which has never been used. Reason for this will become obvious when I get to Image 10. This is a dry boat ensuring air quality is maintained while always living aboard.
The master birth has been extended 600mm to accommodate a double mattress. The mattress is a "Spinal Design" luxury low profile that was custom built for the vessel. Three shelves have been installed each side of the mattress and a smaller shelf fitted into the bow. This is a liveaboard boat.
