"Ruby Tuesday" is a well-found example of the remarkable Van De Stadt 34. These vessels of rugged steel construction, have a huge reputation for their performance under sail, ease of handling, and sea-keeping characteristics capable of safely cruising the world's oceans. "Ruby Tuesday" is cutter-rigged (the ideal cruising configuration) and well-equipped in terms of sail wardrobe, electrics/electronics and auxiliary power (28 hp Volvo Penta MD2030 fresh-water cooled diesel engine). At sea, a spray dodger shelters the cockpit and a Fleming Wind Vane steering system keeps the vessel on track. Handy when sailing short-handed. Below the deck, the layout works well and the quality timber fit-out is of a very high standard. The private V-cabin forward offers a double berth with two occasional berths in the saloon and a quarter berth aft and to port. The private head/handbasin is to starboard of the companionway. The galley and the navigation station are designed and equipped for extended cruises and are strategically located offering easy access to the cockpit.
"Ruby Tuesday" presents in good condition (anti-fouled, new anodes September 2024) and represents OUTSTANDING VALUE.
