"Showtime" is an outstanding example of the legendary Murray Burns Dovell Sydney 36CR (Cruiser Racer). These yachts continue to collect the trophies offshore and around the buoys. A delight to sail, perhaps a more apt description is Racer Cruiser. The emphasis is on racing. From the bowsprit (demountable) for the asymmetrical spinnakers to the efficient deck layout to the big glass wheel, the 36CR boat is a race boat. Halyards and reef lines are led aft providing maximum cockpit sail management. With their high-aspect, balanced spade rudder these boats are a helmsman's delight in light or heavy airs. All that said, the 36CR does have a cruising side. Below deck, the attractive, minimalist accommodations are trimmed with varnished Myrtle and the sole is Flexiteak There is more than adequate space for a week away with the family or friends. "Showtime" is for sale with a comprehensive sail wardrobe and a complete array of performance/ navigation electronics. A 30-hp Yanmar 3YM30 (Saildrive) provides plenty of auxiliary power.
"Showtime" presents in excellent condition and is ready for a summer of racing/cruising.
