The Swarbrick S97 is a fun, fast 32 ft club racer and family cruiser, designed by Kim Swarbrick and a popular class in Western Australia. 'Take Five' is a 1994 built S97 that has sailed on Port Phillip since she was first launched in late 1994. She has a taller rig, specially designed by Kim Swarbrick for our local conditions and she delivers sparkling performance. At the same time she offers good cruising comforts for the odd weekend away or on-board regatta accomodation for up to 8 crew.
Take Five has some blue water history having raced to Devonport and in Bass Strait under her original owner and she has competed in most summer and winter series since launched. Her standing rigging is current, her sail wardrobe is in excellent competitive shape and her Volvo Penta 18HP saildrive diesel engine underwent a full rebuild in January 2024 so she is a step on board and go sailing proposition. She is now offered for sale by her second owner, well equipped and maintained and at a very reasonable price.
