Seawind 1160 Deluxe

A 1/6th share in this syndicate boat is for sale to a suitable owner. Antidote is a Seawind 1160 cruising catamaran, launched in December 2006. Her solid build construction, quality fit out and finish, combined with meticulous maintenance since launch makes Antidote a proven performer in excellent condition.

Antidote is a fast passage maker, set up for short-handed sailing, making her ideally suited for a couple embarking on the cruising lifestyle. She makes an excellent live-aboard and entertainer.

The syndicate of five couples is self-managed. The members of the syndicate are working well together, and among their number are several with valuable skills, such as a diesel mechanic and an auto-electrician. All are experienced sailors.

A 1/6th share entitles a shareholder to eight weeks cruising a year with two weeks for maintenance, usually at BoatWorks on the Gold Coast. The roster is negotiated every year and features both dates and location. In the summer cyclone months, the boat is rostered around Moreton Bay, but from April to December the location moves north as far as Cairns and back.

The shareholding becomes available on 16th August 2025
