Sailmaster 845 EXCELLENT CONDITION, CAPABLE AND WELL EQUIPPED!

A popular and highly capable pocket-size cruising vessel, the Sailmaster 845 presents a great neat package. Aqua-Fae, built in 1984, has spent its life cruising Tasmania and competing in local regattas and twilight racing. With an exceptional amount of space and amenities for its size, Aqua-Fae presents very well inside and out, with a beautifully maintained Yanmar 13hp engine and a range of great upgrades!

The saloon area has excellent head room, well over 6ft, with a galley set to port that features a 2-burner metho stove and a moulded sink, plus a great amount of storage. Sitting opposite and to the starboard side is a large in-built insulated ice-box, that also provides great bench space for meal preparation. Just aft of the galley units are two single quarter berths to each side. Forward of the galley space are two large settees flanking each side with enough seating for at least 8 and doubles as two berths, while a folding timber dinette sits in the centre to create a great dining space and brilliant storage compartments sit behind.

Forward of the saloon is the heads compartment, fitted with a manual marine toilet. This forward space also doubles as a sail locker, where a storage parcel shelf wraps around the sides and forepeak to provide a secure location. Moving aft, the engine is located below the main companionway and is easily accessible. Presenting in great condition, the Yanmar 13hp unit provides comfortable cruising at 5 knots and a rough top speed of 7 knots under motor.

On deck, the cockpit is well shielded thanks to an excellent condition spray hood and clears, while the cockpit itself provides great seating for at least 6. With the decks in excellent condition with non-skid finishing and a NEW sail bag with lazy jacks fitted, this vessel is set up incredibly well for sailing both casually and in a racing environment.

This Sailmaster 845, Aqua-Fae, presents in fantastic condition for its age while benefitting greatly from regular attentive maintenance and a host of thoughtful upgrades. With great amenities and space for cruising and a clever deck layout for casual racing, Aqua-Fae presents a very versatile package.
