Sail Craft Apache

SV Cadence is a very capable offshore cruising catamaran, with a long and impressive history sailing the worlds biggest oceans. Initially presented at the London Boat show, she has grown over the years with several refits, each time refining and modernising. She is now a very comfortable, well appointed live aboard cruising yacht.
She has great entertaining spaces and all the comforts of home, whilst mailntaining her ease of handling and seaworthiness, easlily keeping up with many of the latest vessels.
Cadence has just returned from her latest season cruising the queensland coast and is ready to go again.

Please understand Cadence is not a new boat, she has been on a gradual journey of renewal over many years, I have done a great deal but there is always more to do, as anyone who has owned a yacht will understand, the new owner could do as much or as little as they required, however she is strong and well appointed. The most common question I have is what is the head room like? In the cockpit and the lounge, it is approx 1.8m, in the hulls (aka Galley, Head and Aft Berths) it is generally above 2m.

I have no knowledge of her ever being surveyed so please dont ask, if you want a survey it will be at your own expence and I wont hold the sale in the interim, I am happy to answer any questions with total honesty, and happy to show you around a mutually convenient time, however I want to see her go to a capable owner, as she still means alot to my family and I. The rigging is heavy stainless and although not surveyed since the last replacement, is in good odrder and still appears strong. As for insurance, like most owners of older boats, I have only ever insured for third party, this gives you peace of mind around other boats and also garauntees entry into most marinas, and of course its so much cheaper cheaper, especially in cyclone season.

Cadence has given my family and friends the most amazing adventures around the east coast of Australia, and I am confident she will continue do so for the new owner for many years to come. However it is now time to sell as I am frankly getting too old, the price is coming down as needed so if she doesnt go in the next few weeks she will be auctioned. Dont miss this opportunity to get into a large cruising/live-aboard catamaran for summer, at an amazing price, she wont last long.
