NOW REDUCED: This well known Radford 35 Sprint SL just has to be the best bang for buck on Port Phillip. Fast, exciting and highly competitive, she is great fun to sail and consistently successful with many Club championships to her name. You really could fill your Trophy shelves for a minmal investment with this exhilirating Radford 35 Sprint SL.
Raced by her sailmaker owner, her excellent sails include 2 Kevlar mainsails, J1, J2 and J3 headsails plus a storm jib. Downwind sails comprise 2 Masthead asymmetrics and a fractional asymmetric, all flown from a retractable bowsprit. The well laid-out deck and cockpit enable very efficient sailing. Her well tuned rig is easily managed and her standing rigging was replaced 6 years ago. Down below you will find only sail and safety gear storage and the lifting keel hydraulics mechanism.
A 15hp Mariner outboard which retracts flush into its own stern locker gets her to and from the marina. The deep fin keel with bulb provides excellent stability and can be hydraulically lifted for access to shallower waters when necessary. This Radford Sprint has a single lifting point to enable hard-stand dry storage. The lift point and lifting keel make the yacht readily transportable and she has been trucked to compete at Hamilton Island Race Week and Port Lincoln Race Week
