'Postremo' is a true blue water cruising yacht by the renowned designer, Bob Perry and aimed at sailors with ambitions of far away horizons coupled with a desire for quality workmanship, great lines and both comfortable and safe offshore passage making. With an interior designed for live aboard comfort, her layout consists of two double berths, spacious galley including separate large fridge and freezer, double stainless steel sink with both fresh and saltwater taps along with a large, extendable dining table.
The owners cabin is adjacent to the bathroom that features a full height and separate shower stall, keeping the rest of the space dry.
She is powered by a well maintained Yanmar 62hp diesel engine that takes over when the wind will no longer fill the sails on her cutter rig. With both headsails on furlers and all lines running back to the cockpit, the sail pattern is easily managed by two people.
An excellent package of electronics, including AIS transponder, radar and autopilot is complemented by wind vane steering by way of the relatively new Wind Pilot steering system. Power is in abundance due to the large battery bank that is recharged through solar, wind and high output alternator. Freshwater is supplied through two 300 litre tanks and fuel is supplied via two separate tanks totalling around 500 litres. This has all been designed to be away form shore for as long as desired.
After purchasing her in 2016, Postremo's current (and only 3rd ) owners, have sailed extensively along the south and east coasts of Australia and throughout Indonesia.
