OCEAN STAR 56.1  Just Listed

'Kudo' is a 2004 Ocean Star 56.1 now listed exclusively for sale with YOTI Sydney Harbour.

Many of you would not be familiar with Ocean Yachts or the Greek boat building industry, however it is one that is steeped in history going back to ancient times where Greek ships called Triremes were built for both warfare and trade.

Their methods of hull lamination, where the bulkheads are structurally reinforced, and the GRP girder grid system is bonded underneath the entire surface and hull's full perimeter to ensure extra strength and solidity. All the hulls are laminated by hand and moulded internally, while special attention is given to detail during production.

'Kudo' is designed to go around the world into challenging seas with confidence and supreme seaworthiness and with as few as two people. Her primary controls are within easy reach of the helmsman and her layout is designed to make extended periods at sea truly comfortable. Plenty of storage and comfortable areas for relaxation are a highlight of this yacht.

She offers a 4-cabin, 4 head layout with a Master cabin and en-suite forward of the saloon. There is an additional skipper/crew cabin near the bow which doubles up as a storage cabin. The saloon maximises the wide 5m beam offering cosy u-shaped saloon settee to port and equally large u-shaped dining area with additional sofa seating to starboard.

The deck cockpit layout is well spaced out with a large collapsible cockpit table. The twin helm stations feature contoured teak seats and are within arm's reach of the two Harken primary electric self-tailing winches.

'Kudo' is a great example of a spacious, comfortable and very well equipped liveaboard blue water cruiser and comes complete with dinghy and outboard.
