A well maintained, race ready yacht that is well built, easily handled with great all round performance. The Northshore 369 is a competitive, Australian built cruiser racer.
Ellipse has been constantly upgraded with Harken winches, Harken mainsheet system and Harken jib cars. A carbon CST spinnaker pole, and an up to date sail wardrobe including 2 mainsails, 5 Jibs and 3 Spinnakers are included. She was fully re-rigged with Dyform in 2018 and is cat 4 ready.
For overnighters, Ellipse is comfortable, with a big fridge and metho stove. Decent headroom throughout. There's a double berth to port with lee cloths, a single to starboard, with lee cloths, and two saloon berths, the starboard with lee cloths.
Ellipse is powered by a regularly serviced Yanmar 3GM-30 three cylinder 30hp diesel with Saildrive and a Flex-O-Fold 2 blade propeller. Last service November 2024.
Electronics are Tack-Tick wireless, with a B&G AIS system fitted. An NMEA to Wi-Fi gateway facilitates connectivity to navigation programs on either a laptop or tablet. There are two mast mounted jumbo displays, two bulkhead displays and a hand held control unit for start timers and other NMEA data.
Antifouled and out of the water service in July 2024, Ellipse is ready to win more glassware!
