"Shearwater", a comfortable, easily handled, Murray Isles (9.14m) cruising catamaran is all about fast, comfortable coastal/Channel cruising. The shoal draft allows you to tuck in close to shore. The rig is simple (fully battened wishbone mainsail) and the accommodation comfortable. "Shearwater" is a pleasure to sail in all conditions and offers the perfect vantage to enjoy the scenery as she zips along effortlessly at 8- 10 kts.

"Shearwater" has recently undergone a major upgrade/refit, which included... *replacing the tiller steering with a wheel, *installing pedastal helm and crew chairs, *remodeling the galley and the saloon including a new dinette to seat 4,*new carpet, cushions and mattresses, *building in a private toilet compartment and installing a new composting toilet (there is a handheld shower), *upgrading the electrics, including solar panels, *relocating the hi-thrust, 4-stroke Yamaha engine controls to within easy reach of the skipper.

The wide door opens from the cockpit to the bridge-deck saloon. Large windows all around (one forward-facing opens for ventilation) provide great visibility and light. The saloon dinette with freshly upholstered seats is neat and functional. The galley is in the starboard hull with the bathroom to port. There is a double berth aft and single forward. There is plenty of storage for the longer cruises, including wet lockers.
