This is the one! The current owners have just ticked off their bucket list by spending six incredible months cruising the Queensland Coast, and now they're ready to pass on the torch. They've spent nearly four years upgrading and perfecting this Leopard 44 to ensure it's equipped with every creature comfort you could desire.
Before their memorable sail to the Whitsundays in 2024, they enjoyed countless weekends and weeks exploring the Gold Coast, Moreton Bay, the Fraser Coast, and Lady Musgrave Island. This catamaran has been their haven, and now it's ready to become yours.
Major Upgrades and Additional Features:
o Sails and Rigging: Rigging inspected and updated for insurance purposes in 2022. Mainsail and headsail replaced and a new screecher with bowsprit installed. An extra electric winch installed at the helm.
o Engines and Drives: Rebuilt and regularly serviced engines, sail drives, and upgraded to 3-blade folding overdrive Gori propellers.
o Power: Upgraded to lithium batteries and new Victron battery charger.
o Anchoring: A 35kg stainless steel Ultra Anchor, replaced anchor winch and added 3 different remote options for operation.
o Helm and Cockpits: Quality custom-made clears and enclosures for the helm and aft cockpit, with Sunbrella cushions for both the forward and aft cockpits. Extra shades that can be moved to various positions. Comfortable, custom-made helm seat with folding footrest. Large external fridge/freezer in the aft cockpit.
o Interior Comfort: The main cabin features a luxurious platinum graphene mattress and a full overhead shower system. One of the heads has been converted into a convenient laundry with a washing machine, ice machine and ample storage. Serviced air conditioning units and installed soft starts. Force 10 oven and hotplates less than 12 months old.
o Hull Maintenance: Recently sandblasted and antifouled with top-quality treatment. Freshly buffed and polished fiberglass. New black pin-striping.
o Tender: A nearly new (9-month-old) centre console Hypalon tender fitted with a Garmin fish finder/plotter and a 25hp Mercury 4-stroke motor.
o Connectivity: Independent Wi-Fi system plus Starlink.
