Jeanneau Sun Fast 3300 optioned for both the Rolex Sydney Hobart and other forms of short-handed racing, but can just as easily be raced with a larger compliment of crew. All the best of gear with North 3Di sails including a new unused offshore mainsail and both assy and symetric spinnakers, full B&G H5000 and a current Cat 3+ safety certificate. It has the Axxon Carbon mast option and water-ballast system.
Exceptional balance and stability with astonishing off-the-wind performance in pressure, while also being fast on all points of sail is what the 3300's have proven to be, with podium results in every major offshore race around the World, from the Caribeean 600, Rolex Middle Sea Race, RORC transatlantic race, the Fastnet, Round Britian and Ireland, and our own Hobart race.
A standard comprehensive running rigging package complimented by some additions for ease of sail changes and further improvements of perfromance. This example also boasts load gauges on the bobstay and forestay which displays on the instruments, and also electric rudder angle adjustment for reducing drag. In addition to the Carbon bow-sprit there is also a Carbon symetric spinnaker pole, and Carbon whisker pole.
The sail inventory includes two North 3Di offshore 3-reef mainsails (one brand new), #2 and #4 3DI headsails, a storm jib that combines as a staysail, and then S2, A2, A4, Code 0 and J0.
It's been to Cat' 1 safety including liferaft, but currently has a Cat 3 Certificate and includes a Sat Phone and HF Radio.
It features key optimisations including a custom pushpit for mounting antenna and safety gear, additional spinnaker/Code 0 turning blocks and sheets, deck pads for comfort and security, and all of the work has been done to carefully optimise it for short-handed IRC racing and make it easy to enter any race that ypou may wish to participate in.
Included will be guidance and instruction from PBS Director Lee Condell, if required, to help a new owner to get the best out of this superb yacht.
