The Sun Odyssey 36i has proven to be one of Jeanneau most successful yachts. Built using modern injection moulding techniques, the hull is lighter and stronger then its competitors.
Escapade is equipped for extended coastal cruising and local club racing.
The present owner has owned the Boat since 2011 and sailed along Qld. Coast between Townsville and Lady Musgrave Island.
He has raced in Airlie beach, Hamilton Island, Magnetic Island regatta's as well as locally at Keppel bay.
The rigging was replaced March 2020, the safety lines replaced October 2023

A new toilet was fitted in April 2024.
A new Bimini and infill panel between Bimini and dodger was fitted October 2024.
The saloon has a central folding dinette with seating for eight in comfort on the neatly upholstered settees. This can convert to a bed.
The well appointed galley is to starboard and is fully equipped with large top loading fridge, two burner gas stove with oven, double bowl stainless steel sink, and plenty of storage for extended passages. This vessel has a double V birth in the bow, and a double birth on the starboard stern.
On the port stern the head has a shower stall and toilet.
A large locker is beyond the shower.
Outside, the generous cockpit is a great space to relax and enjoy the views under the protection of the Spray dodger. Well set up for shorthanded sailing, the vessel features a boom bag with lazy jacks, furling headsail, autopilot. For those looking to race, there are two spinnaker's. The teak decks are in excellent condition and add a luxurious feel to the cockpit. There is easy access around6 the wide side decks, and an electric anchor winch on the bow that was serviced in 2023.
This vessel is powered by a well maintained and reliable Yanmar 29hp. The recently serviced Diesel Engine has done 2363 hours. Paired with an Autostream feathering prop, it provides easy and economical cruising at 6 knots.
