As our club coach described them; "J24's are just a sweet yacht". Fun to sail, they feel bigger than they are, being raced with up to 5 crew. This boat was stripped back and refitted from the ground up with new teak rails, the inside woodwork was renewed, plus new buoyancy tanks added at the front and full height bulkheads rear of bunks for safety. Minimum weight when last weighed, Hull has two pack paint on top sides, epoxy high biuld below the waterline. Longboarded to a flat finish. Ready for anti fouling or dry sail as is. Most fiitings replaced, all new running rigging, all new standing rigging. New Main one season use, jib new used once, Genoa two seasons, spinnaker still crisp. -plus older set of sails for club racing and twilights. This boat is ready for a nationals. After the refit it has been dry stored on a jinker with full boat cover. Reluctant sail forced by job relocation.
