Description: Hobie Hobie 33 ULDB
Overview:
Emotional Rescue is believed to be the only Hobie 33 in Australia. Originally designed for the Transpac, they have had class wins over the years; nearly 200 of these boats were built, and they continue to race as a one-design class in the United States.

Performance:
These yachts are exceptionally competitive around the buoys and as coastal racers. Emotional Rescue has enjoyed many years of successful racing in the Derwent River, Hobart, and is a previous winner of the Launceston to Hobart race along with the Bruny Island race and several Pipe Opener wins along with AMS state championships. With its lightweight, easily driven hull, it is a wonderfully balanced yacht that can match and outperform much larger vessels. . Has regularly seen high teens downwind, search Hobie 33 on youtube.

Whilst the boat is antifouled it has spent the majority of the past 20 years stored on its trailer.
It features a retractable 9.9 HP four-stroke Yamaha engine that propels it at 6-7 knots.
Equipped with a solar panel mounted on the stern, the boat's electronics are well-supported. These include a complete set of B&G instruments, a Navman chart plotter, a Simrad VHF radio, a GME stereo system, LED lighting, and a Simrad tiller pilot.
It comes with 2 bulkhead compasses.

Original #1 genoa and offshore double taffeta mainsail along with an as-new #4 jib.

Additional Features:
Electric keel lifting winch
Numerus winch handles.
A new Sunbrella boom cover.
The original mast-raising bridles and factory aluminum spin pole make mast raising simple.
