Description: Hanse 470E
The Hanse 470e is a fantastic success and one of the first from the Hanse range to be built in full epoxy construction. Twinned with a galvanised steel subframe the 470e is well regarded for its build quality.

Seal was launched in 2008 and has been lovingly cared for by her one owner since new and has spent her time between cruising and racing between the Whitsundays and Pittwater.
The space down below is open and airy with a large saloon area reclining arm chairs. A huge owners cabin forward with ensuite would put many larger boats to shame as well as twin aft cabins. Dedicated nav table and generous L shaped galley.
Seal is easily manoeuvred with the aid of a Max power retractable bow thruster and drop down transom. Halyards and lines are led aft to the helm which are controlled by Lewmar electric winches.

Three spreader spacraft rig with Harken cars and fully battened main. Rigging was replaced in 2020 as well as some electronic upgrades around the same time incl B&G chart plotter.

She has the ease of a self tacking headsail as well as deck tracks to suit its genoa. Alloy spinnaker pole stored on the mast used for both headsail and its symmetrical spinnaker. Currently in Cat 7 safety.
