This unique cruising yacht has been designed and built for safety and comfort using a combination of traditional and modern building techniques. Waterline/hull length is 8.2m and overall length from swim board to bowsprit is 9.9m. Steering is via a Hydrive hydraulic wheel system or tiller.
A simple and strong cutter gaff rig provides a wide range of easily handled sail combinations and a kind motion at sea and at anchor.
The hard dodger protects the skipper and crew from sun and rain. The cockpit can be fully enclosed with clears/screens providing protection from wind, rain and insects. Closed cell cockpit cushions provide additional comfort and safety.
It is an easily maintained vessel with a bright and clean interior, no external varnish, and tough enamel paints on the hull, decks and interior. Epoxy sealed carvel jarrah planking ensures tight seams and a dry boat.
Living aboard is a pleasure with a private V-berth, enclosed head, seat cushions throughout, fans, insect screens, impressive galley bench space, copious cupboard storage throughout, an 80 litre 12v/240V compressor fridge/freezer and two gimballed butane stoves.
This yacht is currently stored on a covered hardstand ready for the buyer to move to their preferred location. It is being sold "as is, where is".
A full out-of-water survey was conducted in August 2022 by Weaver Marine Surveyors WA.
It is insured with GIO for $90,000.
