Esychia is a classic Harrier 29, one of the last out of the moulds, she has travelled internationally with the original owners and has recently had a refit in South Australia. She is a light, and simple to maintain vessel that can be dismounted for interstate transport. There is a deceptive 6'4" headroom in both hulls with generous bunk lengths of over 2 metres. The port hull has a full-length galley forward of the bulkhead, a well-insulated icebox and a sink supplied by a foot operated Whale Gusher. Beneath the floors are water tanks for extended cruising. Aft of the bulkhead is a drop leaf table and settee, followed by a single bunk. The Starboard hull has a double bunk forward, head below, nav station at the companionway and a single bunk aft. There are generous watertight crash bulkheads at the bows of both hulls.
Retractable dagger boards and retractable rudders allow shallow water adventures down to 300mm. The outboard is centrally mounted below deck along with the battery and fuel tank.
Whilst she has had a huge amount of maintenance and upgrades over the last three years, her mainsail would need replacing in the short to medium term, and the deck could be upgraded from marine ply to a lighter composite style, or even trampolines. Whilst she was repainted with 2 pack Norglass in 2017 there are some minor cosmetic blemishes that if addressed could really make Esychia shine.
