COUTA BOAT 26  

I am only selling this boat as my crew is getting too old. It is a lovely boat to sail but when the average age is over 75 it becomes hard yakka..... And i dont want to turn it into a motorboat!!

This stunning Couta boat built by Alex Lacco and Doug Walton. Keel laid in 1939 and launched in 1943 used as a
commercial fishing boat for the next 17 years at Phillip Island.
She went through her first restoration in 1992 replacing ribs floor and decking. She spent the next 12 years sailing at Sorrento and Mornington.
In 2004 Lola was subjected to further 3 years restoring her to her original glory days and sailed out of Martha Cove Safety Beach.
Its been with the current owner since 2016 and sails out of Paynesville in East Gippsland. Recently the mast has been completely rebuilt.
She is a great day sailor for the bay, fishing or sailing with the family and is an amazing boat to sail.

Queenscliff Couta Boat Regatta 2009 and 2011 1st place, Victorian state titles 2010 1st place, Portsea Cup 2014 2nd place.
competitor in the Marly Point overnight race, so is fully up to date on electrics and safety (including a nice bluetooth stereo)
