Couta Boat 20

"Lavina" is a gaff rigged Couta, 6.2 m on deck x 2.6 m beam, with a 1.8 m bow sprit. Built in 1936, she is carvel planked over steam bent frames, and powered by a Yanmar 2GM20 shaft drive diesel. She has a laid celery-top deck which could do with a recoat but the boat is generally in sound condition. Retractable iron swing keel gives excellent stability under sail.
