Court 800 Motor Sailer
For sale is Patience, my Court 800 26ft motorsailer. I bought her with a friend who is no longer involved, and I realise I am too old to maintain and sail solo, so I am downsizing to a TS
Patience was built in 1972 and extensively refurbished in 2017-18 with professional rebuild of undersides (2 layers glass and new gel coat), new windows, electrics, macerating head installed, new standing rigging and sails. Motor was fully checked and serviced by Taz Marine. Refurbishment documented in UTube video with the then owner - search "Court Marine 800 motorsailer"
Since then she has had three owners The last before me, who was 92 and sailing solo regularly out of Whyalla, added some further upgrades, with new storm boards and (fairly basic) main traveller.
I have owned her since November 23, and sailed her down from Wallaroo to American River, Kangaroo Island, where she is now moored.
Patience is in sound condition, well found and ready to sail. Last survey by Frank Harvey, Whyalla - copy on request

Remarks
Antifouled January 2025. Two coats International Micron Extra 2 to hull, sail drive stripped and primed with Interprotect 3 coats then Trilux 33 2 coats. Hull and drive inspected, no issues. Anodes on keel, drive and prop checked.
Motor serviced late 2024, all filters, oil, anode, impeller replaced recently. Sail-drive oil checked, clean, looks as new.
Starts reliably, runs well, minimal smoke at start-up
Full standing headroom in main cabin with excellent vision through large windows (new in 2018)
Transom boarding platform with gate - great feature
