Pampero s a Philp's "Thirty Fiver", a 35 foot sloop designed by Hobart naval architect Colin Philp and built by Lal MacDonnel. The class was designed as a racing cruiser which could easily be handled by a crew of one or two. It was designed primarily for comfortable cruising, short-distance ocean walloping, and good class harbor racing.
An Aussie family sailed Pampero around the world in the 1980s and is ready to sail now. She comes with a relatively new mainsail and headsail, made to original specifications in the plan. Also included is a 150% genoa with a lot of life left in it
The interior has full head room of 6ft and the accommodation layout provides for two settee bunks, twin V berth forward, a galley and toilet. She comes with a working gas oven, and a Walker Bay 8 foot dinghy.
Pampero is comprehensively insured and comes with a permanent mooring in Williamstown with an annual fee of $700.
