First time on the market. This Cheoy Lee 39 has been in the hands of a very experienced long-term owner for the last 20 years.
The vessel has arrived recently in the Philippines after cruising Japan waters for several years.
A very robust no-nonsense cruising yacht capable of go-anywhere world cruising. She has a moulded keel so no keel bolts. A flush deck for ease of movement on deck and solid stainless steel grab rails. And a robust external transom-hung rudder.
The design incorporates 2 seperate cockpits and the small aft cockpit is very well protected from the elements with it's hard dodger, hard bimini top and side windows.
The sail wardrbobe is good with furling headsails and a boom furling mainsail, the rigging is strong incorporating re-usable rigging terminals and suitable for ocean cruising, excellent ground tackle with 2 seperate electric anchor winches. The engine is very low hours and provides ample power to drive the vessel and being an Izuzu, spare parts are easy and cheap to procure.
She is equipped with windvane self-steering and autopilot.
New propellor, new propellor shaft and cutless bearing recently.
The interior layout is unconventional but would suit charter, sail training, expedition type sailing, or adventure cruising by an adventurous young couple or single-hander. There are 2 double berths and two to three single berths available.
The vessel is turn-key ready with everything operational for immediate cruising. It is a well-maintained and well-conceived cruising vessel.
Located in Cebu just 30km from Mactan International airport.
