Built by one of America's largest production boat builders. Catalina Yachts are known for their reputation for building solid, dependable and well thought out cruising yachts for the last 55 years. An ideal platform for coastal cruising for novices through to experienced sailors.

Launched in 1996, Chimera has been lovingly maintained and is presented in remarkable condition by her current owners.
Stepping aboard "Chimera" side and rear shades can be unrolled when a reprieve from the sun is required, and in combination with the upgraded bimini and dodger the cockpit becomes usable in most weather conditions.
All lines tail back to the cockpit with Lewmar primary and halyard winches.
With a well-appointed longitudinal galley, starboard side. Top and front opening refrigeration, microwave, 3 burner gas stove and oven, twin SS sink and plenty of cupboard storage.
Opposite the galley is ample seating for the entire crew, as well as a drop-down dining table if additional berths are required.
With a cosy double aft cabin with ensuite head, and owners cabin forward with Pullman berth and large ensuite. There is an additional toilet and shower for convenience.
Powered by a 54hp Yanmar shaft drive diesel, Autostream 3 blade feathering prop pushing her along at 6knts.
Maximum speed approximately 8knts.
