Zig Zag is shoal draft (wing keel 1.47m) with shaft drive Catalina 387 yacht in very good original condition. Zig Zag is a pretty simple vessel easily managed by 2 persons for coastal cruising and having a draft of 1.47 makes it pretty user friendly. She is currently berthed at Horizon Shore Marina and the berth is available for rent or purchase.
She has full aft cabin and comes with a very functional galley and shower and toilet. The rigging wires and halyards were replaced in July 2021. The rigging has furling headsail and slab reefing operated from cockpit. The Yanmar 40 HP motor has around 820 hours and has just had the cooling system fully overhauled by Marine Mechinical Solutions including a full service and was reported all in very good condition. Works completed in June 2024. She was last hauled out in November 23 and antifouled. New batteries were installed in April 24. She is ready to start cruising including fish cleaning station plumbed with deck wash. There is pretty well brand new tender attached but is extra if required.. She currently has a fixed blade propeller but will be supplied (not fitted) Autostream Self Feathering Prop all new including warranty.
