Catalina 22 Capri
We are looking to sell half of our beloved Catalina Capri 22 - moored in Rose bay adjacent to the Woolarah sailing club. Easy access and plenty of street parking!
Known for its sweet sailing performance in nearly all conditions, the Catalina Capri 22 has been winning sailors since its introduction.
The Capri 22 is more comfortable, safer at sea and easier to maintain than any boat in its class. The striking deck profile is flared across the stern and has wider cockpit curves for crew comfort during and after sailing. The Catalina Capri 22 is designed for both cruising and racing. This particular model features a wing keel, which provides improved stability and performance compared to a traditional keel design. The boat is 22 feet in length and is equipped with a spacious cockpit, comfortable interior, and ample storage. This boat offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a versatile and fun sailboat. We race her sometimes on wednesday afternoons and would be open to racing with our new shared owner!
Under the full reclining length seats is a new storage locker and separate battery locker.
Recent maintenance:
- She has a new self-furling jib installed in 2023 - Selden FURLEX 1045 (documents available to be sent via email or whatsapp).
- She had her rigging assessed and redone in 2023 by Joe Walsh rigging. New stays, spreaders whole lot was recalibrated with new bolts and fittings. (documents available to be sent via email or whatsapp).
- 2 new Lewnmar 15 winches (documents available to be sent via email or whatsapp). Installed 2023.
