Description: Carter 33 Masthead Sloop
Carter 33s have been successful performers at Club racing level and were frequent winners back in the day. Equally at home on Port Phillip or out in Bass Strait, they are a well proven design with excellent stability and all-round sailing performance. This Carter 33 was launched in 1978 and was a past Club Champion. She is now a comfortable cruiser-racer, an ideal choice to enjoy sailing with family and friends.

More interior pics to come.

Well equipped with wheel steering, Autopilot and GPS and Plotter at the helm, she also has Tack Tick wireless performance electronics with a network interface so you can run Apps such as Navionics etc on your iPhone or iPad. There is also a VHF radio transceiver to keep you in touch. There's a good wardrobe of sails including a furling headsail, a fully battened mainsail stowed in a new boom bag with lazy jacks for convenient, easy sailing. Other sails include two spinnakers plus storm sails. The engine is a well maintained Volvo Penta 20HP diesel with a saildrive leg and folding propeller. The saildrive leg was removed and fully serviced in 2019.

Significant upgrades include new self-tailing 2-speed cockpit winches in 2015, new interior and navigation lights in 2016, all new stainless steel wire standing rigging and new Spectra halyards in 2017 and a full repaint of the deck in 2021. This Carter 33 comes fully set up with Safety equipment, Galley and Nav equipment, Charts and Manuals so she represents a value buying opportunity. A current 2021 out of water marine survey will be provided to the purchaser. Great value here!

Last haulout the hull was coated in white 2 pack marine paint and faired to a bee's dick with new signage and detail stripes etc put on. Looks schmick az bro.
