Description: Bristol 45.5 Centre Cockpit
The Ted Hood designed Bristol 45.5 is a comfortable and roomy traditional blue water cruising yacht that has been well maintained and thoughtfully upgraded to make cruising as easy and convenient as possible. This is a classic yacht for the serious blue water cruiser. Solidly built in the USA she has been cruised extensively by her current owners since 2015 with passages up the Australian east coast, twice around Tasmania, across to NZ, around the North Island and return with much of her travels sailed two-handed. During this time virtually all of her electrical, mechanical, structural and navigation systems have been upgraded or refitted to ensure a safe, reliable and seaworthy passage maker, ready to embark on new adventures with her next owner.

Her upgrades include furling headsail and in-mast furling mainsail for the ultimate in sail handling convenience, a powerful new Yanmar 80hp diesel engine installed in 2020, a Fischer-Panda genset and a fully enclosed cockpit providing complete protection from the elements in all weather. Down below you'll find plenty of living space with two private sleeping cabins, each with ensuite. The inviting main cabin with large saloon table, well equipped galley and proper chart table for the navigator will impress.

Solidly rigged for offshore sailing, she has a good wardrobe of sails in great condition. Her lifting centreboard allows ready access to shallower waterways. With the centreboard lowered you will enjoy efficient upwind sailing and comfortable passage making. She is an Australian Registered vessel so she is ready to sail out into the the Pacific or anywhere you may choose to sail.

If you are looking for a serious blue water passage maker the this attractive Bristol 45.5 is one you should inspect. For further information or to arrange an inspection at Sandringham VIC, please contact Chris Furey on O4IO 55I 977 or complete the on-line enquiry foirm
